Real Madrid and Portugal star footballer Cristiano Ronaldo has been hit
by social media backlash after the striker posted a photo of him and
pals wearing an Ant- mask aboard his private jet to join up with his
Portugal teammates ahead of EURO 2016. What caused the controversy was
his photo caption: “Tanned faces!”, which some people felt was racist.
