Angelia Jolie made Honorary Dame by Queen Elizabeth

Hollywood actress, Angelina Jolie,​ was on Friday made an Honorary Dame by the Queen of Britain, Elizabeth II.
During a visit to Buckingham Palace, the London residence of the British royal family, the actress was presented with the Insignia of an Honorary Dame Grand Cross of the Most Distinguished Order of St Michael and St George.
Ms. Jolie, a former Goodwill Ambassador for the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees, was honoured by the Queen for her hard work campaigning against sexual violence, as well as her services towards UK foreign policy.
In June, the actress hosted a global summit in London to end sexual violence during conflict alongside the British Foreign Secretary, William Hague.
Ms. Jolie, an Academy Award (Oscar) winner, is famous for her roles in Lara Croft: Tomb Raider and Mr & Mrs. Smith.
She is married to fellow actor, Brad Pitt, and the couple has six children.
